Three Point Grip & Tracking16/5-07
Jason Borgers book "Nature of Flycasting" that he send me has been a really nice eye opener!
There are many things in the book i find really useful, but what i like the most is that the things
are explained in very nice ways and also from new angles for me.
What has given me most result so far is the Three point Grip. My tracking has never been better
and ive hit distances i never done before. A 35m cast was the result from the grip and the improved
tracking. I also used pointing & thrusting that was inspired from the book in that cast.
Looking forward to see where this will take me ;)
Thanx Jason //Bazz

29.4 meter Switchcasts 13/4-07
The hard training is really starting to pay off. Yesterday i went out training a little on the
Switchcasts, came home.. analyzed the videos and came up with a few changes.
Today i went out and had some serious improvements with a few of them over 30m!
I had to messure them and went up on grass to get my messuretape out and hit a 29.4m
straight away! :) Great way to celebrate my birthday on!

Watercast training.. Switch, Running-T & Voodo´s 10/4-07
Had a fantastic and really fun day training today. I was working on how to anchour the line during
watercasts. When i got home i realized that i had played around a little more than i was aware of,
and had really fun watching the casts on video. Ive included some videoclips of Switchcasts,
Running-T´s & also Michael Mauris VoodoCast that he taught me ;)

Casting with Michael Mauri, Carl Hutchinson and Stefan Siikavaara... 22/3-07
Things are starting to happen! I had the pleasure to cast with these three amazing casters during
the flyfair in Stockholm. They all had really superb ways of teaching and i learned so much by
having them correcting and explaining. What a fantastic experience that was. A hughe thanx guys
for taking the time and sharing your knowledge!
I know now why so many keep saying that you guys are among the best instructors in the world.
I wish you guys the very best! You guys really inspired me to work even harder!

Switchcast training on snow... 15/2-07
Today I went out for some training. Its cold as hell and the snow is icy. Main problem
that I think I had today was to anchour the line on the snow. Someone said its just as
easy on snow as it is on water.. yeah right.. or is it? Looking forward to see what help
i can get from the forum about this. [Link]

Wiggling/ legs - Switch Cast training 15/1 -07
Ahh.. I love flycasting. Last practice is perfect.. you think you got it. Then you go out the next day
to continue from where you left it. And then nothing is the same?!
Everyday you got something new to work on and this one one of those days indeed!
Switchcasts were working decent, with tight loops up to 15 meters. After that i started to get
really big waves on the lower leg. I love nice clean loops and those waves just have to be a sign
of that somethings not right. When I went for more distance the wave got more intensive, and if
i removed the haul the wave was gone! Ahh im doing something with the haulhand that is resulting
in a fast tight loop but terrible waves on the bottom leg.
What is wrong?! I couldnt figure that out.. but I sure looking forward trying to fix it!

More is not always better! 14/1 -07
Alright.. how many time will it take before I learn. While training, do short training sessions and take
alot of breaks letting the muscles to rest. Today I woke up with a sore muscle and it will take a day
or two of resting until I dare to go out training again :) Two hours of constant switch casts will do
that to ya..
